Indecent Proposal Ch. 02 - ALT

Author's Note: A lot of people commented that they wished the story ended a bit differently, so here's how things ended up in an alternate universe. It begins right at the end of the original Indecent Proposal, so if you want you can disregard the original Chapter Two, or read this as a companion piece.

Indecent Proposal - Alternate Universe -- Ch 2
A month had gone by since Nikki's last encounter with Rob and my week with Jessica in paradise. When we got back our first priority was to pay off the mortgage and buy two new cars. Jessica and I were very happy.
One morning we were having breakfast and my phone buzzed.

"You miss him, huh?" Jess asked.

"It's okay to miss him. You two had a lot of fun together," she said.

"Then why do you have that look on your face?" She asked.

"Okay fine! I don't miss Rob, Nikki does!" I said.

"If I'm Nick and Nikki, and Nikki misses Rob, then Nick does too," I said.
"And?" She asked.

"The house looks great," Rob said.

Rob put his hand on mine and asked, "What are you confused about?"

Rob came in and kissed us both again. We would soon learn that he would kiss us hello and goodbye every time. We sat down and Jess opened a second bottle and brought Rob an empty glass.
"In the last couple hours I got a bunch of things done," he said.
"We can't wait to hear them!" Jessica said.
"Now I've made a bunch of arrangements, but don't be afraid to tell me if you don't like something. Yes, I'm the man, but we all have a say in this relationship," he said.
